Dwarf pachycaul shrub with compact growth form. Attractive bark and flower spines produce an interesting, very decorative smaller succulent shrub feature plant, even when the leaves are not present. Leaves are produced in winter flowers in spring, when the leaves have fallen. Due to its dwarf compact size, it is one of the most attractive Tylecodons to keep as a potted feature plant. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Water sparingly in winter, which is their growing season. Do not water in summer when the leaves have fallen.
